The New Canaan Nature Center had the unique problem of wanting permanent interactive exhibits enhanced with wonderful full-scale dioramas that had to be portable. Large 10' square modules were made with hidden access doors to maintain the internal electronic systems needed for lighting the displays and for computers. The exhibit "cubes" were also engineered and constructed on a heavy-duty caster system so they could be moved about the exhibit gallery so other activities could happen when floor space was needed.
